What we're looking for

Freshflow is seeking a motivated Rollout Operations Manager (Freelance) to lead the rollout of our software in dozens of stores of a leading German grocery retailer. You'll work hands-on with store teams across the country, taking full ownership of onboarding, training, and building trust with retail staff on the ground. This is a high-impact freelance engagement where you'll sharpen your change management and interpersonal skills while gaining deep insight into an underestimated industry. The engagement is 8 weeks (3 weeks onboarding + 5 weeks execution) with extensive travel across Germany, working closely with the VP Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Independently roll out our software in dozens of stores of a leading German grocery retailer.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules with individual stores, travel to each location, and run onsite onboardings end-to-end.
  • Train store employees on the app and build trust in both the product and Freshflow.
  • During the 3-week onboarding phase: develop a deep understanding of the product and be able to answer detailed questions confidently.
  • Learn the onboarding process inside-out and execute it independently.
  • Shadow other onboardings and participate in dry runs to prepare for solo execution.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Native German speaker.
  • Confident presence, empathy, and the ability to get people excited.
  • Quick to grasp our technical solution and how it integrates into grocery retail processes.
  • Strong willingness to travel.
  • Prior experience in retail operations, change management, or field rollouts is a plus.
