About Freshflow

€72 billion worth of fresh food is wasted every year in European grocery retail. Freshflow is building the AI Operating System for the Fresh Food Supply Chain — starting with ordering and inventory optimization for fresh produce departments.

We work with some of the largest retailers in Germany and France — EDEKA, REWE, Carrefour, Intermarché, and E.Leclerc — reducing waste by ~24% while improving on-shelf availability. We're growing revenues 400% year-over-year, backed by World Fund and Capnamic, and just getting started.

The role

As an Account Executive, you own the full sales cycle — from first outreach to signed contract. You sell bottom-up into retail, talking directly to Marktmanager and Frische-Chefs at the store level, not just HQ. You understand their world and earn trust fast. Pipeline ownership is yours: our SDRs support you, but the moment a meeting is booked, you take over and drive the deal all the way to close.

What you'll do

  • Own the full sales cycle — from first outreach to signed contract: demos, discovery calls, and closing.
  • Sell bottom-up into retail — you talk to Marktmanager and Frische-Chefs at the store level, not just HQ, and earn trust fast.
  • Build and manage your pipeline — collaborate with our SDR team on inbound leads and develop outbound coverage across your territory in Germany.
  • Expand existing accounts — land and expand: once a store is live, you identify rollout potential and grow the account within the same group.
  • Feed market insights back into the team — what are you hearing out there? What's working? You're our eyes and ears on the ground.

What you bring

You don't need to tick every box — we're looking for driven people who want to grow.

  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a closing role.
  • A track record of hitting or exceeding quota — you can show us the numbers.
  • Fluent German (native or near-native) — you'll be talking to Kaufleute every day.
  • Comfort selling to operators, not just software buyers — you explain complex value simply and clearly.
  • Self-sufficient pipeline management — you don't wait for leads to come to you.
  • CRM discipline: you document what you do and learn from the data.

Nice to have

  • Background in grocery retail, food tech, or supply chain software.
  • Experience selling into SMB or franchise environments.
  • Good English — our team is international.
